The Corporation- 10th Anniversary screening

Ten years ago, The Corporation, a seminal Canadian documentary, changed the way the world thinks about the nature and role of corporations in society. It would later influence movements like Occupy Wall Street and remains even more relevant today than it was a decade ago.

Monday, May 26, don’t miss a special 10th anniversary screening of the film, including a panel discussion with UBC law professor Joel Bakan – author of the book upon which the film is based – plus Caleb Behn, subject of the forthcoming documentary film Fractured Land, which is executive produced by The Corporation’s Mark Achbar. Also appearing from Fractured Land is co-director Fiona Rayher and her colleague at Gen Why Media, Tara Mahoney.

Proceeds from the event will go towards getting a new cut of the film into 1,000 schools. The show starts at 7 pm but will be preceded by an Info Fair at 6 pm – featuring groups like and a chance to get a copy of The Corporation signed by Joel Bakan. Get your tickets online here before they sell out.

Monday, May 26,  7 – 10 pm (doors open to Info Fair at 6 pm)

SFU Woodwards Theatre – 149 West Hastings St., Vancouver, BC
